Parroquia Católica Nuestra Señora de la Asunción

We commend to you, Lord, your servant William René, whom you have chosen from among men to be a priest in the manner of the Apostles. We cannot forget that he responded to this call out of love for You and for us. Now that he has fulfilled his mission of gathering your people and proclaiming the Gospel, grant him to find in glory the One he has sought with his brothers,
Jesus Christ, your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns for ever and ever. Amen.

Father Palacios was a son of Luis Antonio Palacios and Sara María Torres, deceased. He was the 3rd of twelve brothers and sisters. He leaves in sorrow his sisters: Esperanza (Hernando), Elizabeth (Jairo), Amparo (Jairo), Consuelo (Omar), Clara (Néstor), and Astrid; his brothers: Yamil (Nohora), Julio Enrique (Oliva), Armando (Elizabeth), Alejandro (Luz Elena), and Juan Carlos (Sonia); his nieces and nephews; other family members, the Sulpician Priests, his numerous students, his parishioners, and his friends in Colombia, Brazil, and Canada.

The Society of the Priest of Saint Sulpice share in prayer the sacramental communion that unites all of us to the mysteries of Christ’s priesthood and his Passover, always renewed in the celebration of the Eucharist.
